For 136 years The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA) has worked to promote and encourage the development of the agricultural, industrial and cultural resources of Queensland.

The RNA owns and operates the RNA Showgrounds at Bowen Hills, Brisbane, and stages the Royal Queensland Show - the 'Ekka'.

Please view our Spirit of the Ekka video which celebrates the future of the Ekka.

RNA would like to thank the John Oxley Library, State Library of Queensland for the imagery featured on this website.

History of the RNA

The RNA forms a rich part of Queensland’s social heritage and culture.

Regeneration Project

The RNA Showgrounds Regeneration Project will reenergise the annual Ekka and see the site become the centrepiece of a new mixed use urban village precinct in Brisbane.
