About the RASC
Founded in 1957, the Royal Agricultural Society of the
Commonwealth (RASC) is the voice of agriculture in the
Commonwealth. RASC is a confederation of over 50 leading national
and regional agricultural show societies, agricultural associations
and research bodies working in 20 Commonwealth countries.
Each year RASC convenes an international conference so members of
agricultural industries and national agricultural show societies
can interact and learn from each other, while experiencing another
country.
This year's conference will be hosted by the RNA and held in
Brisbane. The RASC is expecting around 300 delegates from the
United Kingdom, Canada, the USA, New Zealand and Australia to
attend. Forty eight show societies across 21 countries will be
represented.
