Teachers Cheese Making Workshop 19-23 March 2012

Another very successful round of cheese making workshops was held at the RNA Showgrounds in 2012.  Teachers travelled from as far north as Hervey Bay, and west from Kingaroy to learn from renowned cheese expert Russell Smith.  All are equipped now with the skills to go back to the classroom to teach their students the finer points of making camembert and blue style cheeses.

2011 RESULTS

Master cheese maker Franck Beaurain from Jindi Cheese in Gippsland, Victoria, reigned supreme with his Jindi Old Telegraph Road Heritage Blue winning Grand Champion Cheese and the title of Australia's best dairy product at the Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show's Cheese and Dairy Product competition.
