The Branded Lamb competition featured entries of a high standard and quality and competition winners earned the right to display their gold, silver, bronze or trophy show medal on product packaging, ensuring consumers know they are buying the best of the best in that product range

Competition Details

Entry Fee: $200 per entry (subject to change)

Judging Process

Back straps will be the cut, prepared and cooked by DPI&F Food Scientists.

Cooking protocol is still to be annouced.

Judging Criteria

Exhibits will be judged on the following criteria:

Raw
Visual 0-10 points
Cooked
Tenderness 0-20 points
Juiciness 0-20 points
Flavour 0-30 points
Overall Liking 0-10 points

Total possible score per judge is 90 points. Each exhibit will be grilled only.
