Royal Queensland Food and Wine Show
The Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show aims to showcase the
nations' finest food and wine offerings.
Entries are open and rolling in fast from Australia's best
producers for this year's Royal Queensland Food and Wine Show
(RQFWS).
The RQFWS comprises of eight individual competitions showcasing
the best in cheese and dairy, lamb, beef, wine, sausages and
beer.
Kicking off in May and running through to October, the RQFWS,
which is an initiative of the RNA, is already experiencing
significant increases in entry numbers.
The RQFWS beginnings stem back to 1876 with the cheese and dairy
produce section and the first Chocolate Competition has been added
for 2012.
Rigorous judging will take place to crown the best of the best
as judged by the best, culminating in July with the Royal Queensland
Food & Wine Show, Wine Awards Dinner.
Embracing the diversity and sheer quality of Australia's
burgeoning culinary culture, the Royal Queensland Food &
Wine Show now incorporates;
