Project Team
The RNA Regeneration Team became operational in September 2009
following the appointment of Steve Grimes as the Project
Director.
The team's professional expertise and understanding of the RNA's
role in Brisbane's cultural heritage will ably guide the
organisation through the development stages of this world class
$2.9 billion project.
Steven Grimes
Project Director
Steven Grimes joined the RNA in September 2009 to oversee the
Association's role with its project partner, Lend Lease, in the
delivery of the $3 billion redevelopment of the RNA
Showgrounds. Steven brings with him over 22 years
professional experience in Australia, the United Kingdom and the
United States delivering award winning, large scale, mixed use
developments. Previous positions include Team Leader for Lend Lease
Water Alliance on the Gold Coast, Development Operations Manager
and Project Director for Actus Lend Lease in the United States.

Lloyd Dunn
Project Development Manager
Lloyd Dunn joined the RNA in February 2010 in the position of
Project Development Manager. Lloyd joins the team with an
impressive diversified background over the past 15 years. Roles
have included Construction Management, Project Management and as a
Development Manager on mixed use projects including commercial,
retail and residential as well as Industrial projects.
Some of the major organisations that Lloyd has worked for during
his career include Fletcher Constructions Australia, Multiplex,
Project Strategies Australia, Austcorp, Stockland and some of the
major projects include Logan Hyperdome Stage 2, SW1, Woolworths
Retail, Residential and Retail at Coomera Waters and multiple
projects at South Bank Parklands, Brisbane.
Lloyd joins the team having been involved in all facets
development from inception to final delivery which allows him to
focus on the bigger picture whilst at the same time understanding
the micro elements which effect the project.
Katherine McConnell
Executive Assistant
Katherine McConnell joined the RNA in December 2009 in the
position of Redevelopment Executive Assistant. Katherine joins the
team with varied background over the past 25 years.
She has worked both overseas and interstate and roles have
included Passport Officer at the Australian Consulate General
- New York, Production Manager for Television Commercials - New
York and SBS Television - Sydney.
