QUT Commercial Partners in Excellence program

The QUT Faculty of Business Corporate Partners in Excellence (CPIE) program offers a small group of exceptional school leavers a three-year degree qualification that includes work experience with sponsoring organisations.

The CPIE program is open to students wishing to study the QUT Bachelor of Business majoring in Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Economics, Human Resource Management or Marketing and incorporates a scholarship worth $28,500 and professional work experience.

The RNA is a sponsor organisation for the program and in late 2006 offered a scholarship in the areas of accounting and marketing.

Chris Royle undertook a three month work placement in the RNA's Marketing, Sponsorship and Sales department. "I feel very privileged to be given this opportunity to put my uni skills into practice," he said. "I'm still finding out what areas of business I enjoy; though I would eventually like to work in marketing management."
