RNA Agricultural Student Bursary
The Australian Agricultural College Corporation RNA Bursary is open to first year students enrolled in a Certificate or Diploma course at a Queensland agricultural college. The bursary was established to assist rural families with their children's education. A cash payment of $3,000 is provided to assist students with their living expenses.
The winners of the RNA Bursaries in 2009 were all young women. This was a timely reminder of the strong representation of women in all areas of agricultural study and the RNA was delighted to present them with their awards.
The bursary recipients for 2009 were; Jessica Gault – Dalby, Helen Vardill – Longreach, Kate Jackson – Emerald and Danica Helsdon – Burdekin.
