Education Bursary

The Royal National Agricultural & Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA) Foundation (RNAF) celebrates and champions the essential role agriculture plays in the everyday lives of Queenslanders through raising funds to aid agricultural heritage preservation, agricultural education and agricultural awareness and development.
The RNA Foundation's Education Bursary, established in conjunction with the RNA Future Directions Committee (FDC), has been created in support of the RNAF's education pillar in order to aid agricultural education. Educational opportunities are essential for ensuring that the wider community understands and values the role agriculture plays in everyday lives, and for providing a firm foundation for our next generation of agricultural leaders. In 2021, up to two bursaries may be awarded for recipients to attend the Marcus Oldham Rural Leadership Program.
The objective of the Marcus Oldham Rural Leadership Program is to provide leadership training to identified, potential future leaders in agricultural and agribusiness industries and communities. There continues to be a diaspora of home-grown leaders from rural Australia and the program is designed to strengthen the skills and talent of emerging leaders whose leadership potential has been identified by their industries or community.
